Description and Service Details

Description (Service)

The Adult Day Programs are designed to meet the social, intellectual and recreational needs of older adults in Halton, and to enhance their independence and quality of life 

Silver Creek Place

  • accommodates 15 clients per day
  • beneficial for community-based seniors, and adults with disabilities who require mental and social stimulation, require assistance and/or supervision with their activities of daily living, and/or have caregivers who require caregiver relief
  • program is available Mon-Fri 8 am-4:30 pm and Sat 9 am-3:30 pm
  • registration can be for one to six days dependent on program availability

Activities include:

  • crafts
  • card games
  • bowling
  • special outing
  • music
  • baking and cooking
  • fitness
  • games
  • lunch and refreshments are provided including special diets to meet participant's nutritional needs
  • assistance with personal, meal time and mobility needs is provided 

The Adult Day programs are also offered in Milton
