| Description (Service) | The 2026 municipal election will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026 During a municipal election, Town of Halton Hills citizens elect officials to the offices of Mayor, Town Councillors, Regional and Town Councillors, and various school board trustees for a four year term Following the adoption of the Better Regional Governance Act, 2026, the Halton Regional Chair is now a Provincially appointed position and will not appear on the ballot VOTING:
