Description (Service)

Free Tutoring

  • for children or youth who are struggling with their academics
  • for more information, see listing (OAK0454

Music Program

  • one-to-one piano, guitar, violin and drum lessons designed for children and youth who show an aptitude and interest in music but whose parents may not have the means to afford lessons 

Clothing bank

  • for infants to adults, including business suits for men and women re-entering the work force
  • diapers available Mon-Fri, 9:30 am-12 noon 
  • donations can be dropped off 9:30 am-1 pm or can be left in the two orange drop boxes located in the parking lot
  • also accepts donations of sheets, blankets and towels
  • arrangements can be made to bring diapers or clothing to those who cannot access the office  

Furniture bank 

  • offers furniture, household goods, small appliances and bicycles 
  • furniture donations can be picked up for a small fee or dropped off after prior arrangements are made by email to furniture@safetynetservices.ca 

Donation Bins

  • 166 South Service Rd East (9 am-4 pm)
  • you can leave gently used clothing, shoes, packaged diapers, and fabric recycling
  • please bag all items
