Description (Service)

A Reform synagogue with a traditional orientation 
 
Synagogue Services:

  • Shabbat services
  • occasional Friday pot luck dinners 

Groups:

  • religious school for children from pre-school to post-Bar/Bat Mitzvah (grade 9)
  • family social and educational programs and activities
  • adult education programs-include guest speakers 
  • Torah studies 
  • Hebrew reading 
  • outreach programs for interfaith couples
  • adult Bar/Bat mitzvah classes
  • holy day information sessions exploring the prayerbook
  • young adult youth group (CHAIY) affiliated with the North American Federation of Temple Youth (Reform Judaism's youth movement) 

Rental Facilities:

  • one room capacity for 200-250 for meetings, 150-200 for sit-down banquets
  • available Mon-Fri am, excluding Jewish holidays
  • advance booking required
  • only kosher food to be served 
  • kitchen with coffee equipment
  • renter must supply special events liquor license and Smartserve bartender
