An annual guide to holiday markets, giving & receiving for residents of Milton.
 
HOLIDAY FEST & CHRISTMAS BAZAARS

The Country Heritage Holiday Market and Halton Buttertart Festival

  • Holiday shopping, Food Trucks and  family friendly activities
  • Where: Country Heritage Park, 8560 Tremaine Rd

Santa at the Fairgrounds

  • Thw event is taking place over 3 weekends in December. Families will be able to visit the grounds, shop local vendors and take a photo with Santa

GIVE HELP: Food, Gift and Toy Drives 

MCRC's Fill A Crib Campaign

  • MCRC's Fill A Crib campaign provides MCRC’s Infant Food Bank with essential supplies and food to support local impoverished, at-risk, and vulnerable families. Goal is to fill 100 cribs with essential supplies like Diapers (size 4, 5 & 6), formula (Enfamil A+Similac, goodstart), baby food & Cereal, baby wipes and menstrual supplies.

Miracle on Main Street! Halton Regional Police Service (2024)

  • The TigerJeet Singh Foundation and Halton Regional Police Service are partnering for the annual Miracle on Main Street toy drive. All donations collected will be distributed to Halton schools, community agencies and families. Halton Regional Police Service will be accepting toy donations, cash and gift cards at all the Halton Regional Police Service facilities. Donations can also be made online through www.MiracleOnMain.ca. 100% of the donations go back into the Halton community.
  • Live Event: Saturday, December 7; 2-7 pm 
  • Location: Main Street East, downtown Milton 
  • Admission is free with a donation of a new unwrapped toy. There will be free amusement rides, free petting zoo and free pony rides, stage performances, food, drinks and much more.

There are two special ways to support to the women and children that need Halton Women’s Place services the most:

1) Holiday Shelter Wishes Campaign

  • Grant a holiday wish and help provide essential items this season by joining the Holiday Shelter Wishes Campaign 

2) Holiday Giving Program

  • Sponsor a family with gift cards through the Holiday Giving Program
    • sponsors families who have stayed with Halton Women's Place, or used their services, within the past year
    • gift cards are given to mom to shop specifically for her children and for herself

Oakville & Milton Humane Society  

When you give today, your gift will be matched up to $50,000, through the 2024 Holiday Matching Campaign

Support the OMHS Pet Food Bank, which provides pet food and supplies through a network of of 20 established community programs and 12 food banks throughout Oakville and Milton

  •  Volunteer Halton has volunteering opportunities for a wide range of local nonprofit organizations. 
  • Milton Santa Claus Parade needs volunteers to join the Santa Claus Parade Committee to help organize the parade.
