Description (Service)

After more than 20 years of restoration work, the newest park (which was once a quarry) is open to the public

  • features restored land, a lake, and habitat features to support native wildlife and vegetation
  • park development will occur in phases over the next few years, so accessibility to the park is still intermittent as restoration continues

Park hours Mon-Sun 8:30 am- 9 pm (Apr 17 - Oct 14)

  • Area 8 is not open to the public in the winter
  • Park hours vary seasonally, summer hours are in effect from Easter (Apr) to Thanksgiving (Oct) and winter hours are in effect from after Thanksgiving to Easter
  • all facilities are available during all park hours
