The Muslim Advisory Council of Canada addresses Islamophobia and promotes equity, inclusion, and justice for Canadian Muslims through evidence-based research. We aim to provide comprehensive education, resources, and support to individuals, organizations, government, and policy makers, empowering them to create meaningful impact and foster understanding. Through our work, we strive to inspire and mobilize a community of changemakers who are committed to building a better world free from discrimination and prejudice

  • anti-Islamophobia training
  • community based research
  • resource hub

Education Support for Muslim Families at Halton District School Board

  • Service Navigator empower families to advocate for their children’s needs within the education system at HDSB
  • helps equip families with knowledge about their rights
  • offers tools for effective self-advocacy, mental health support and access to resources, through up to five consultative sessions with the service navigator

Incident Reporting Tool

  • a secure incident reporting tool for the community to report instances of Islamophobia or racism that occur at HDSB
  • Service Navigator will follow up, providing 1-5 consultative sessions to help address and resolve the issue
