Private retirement home with 81 units * studio and one bedroom suites * assisted living

Basic care service include:

• individualized care plans
• emergency response (voice communication system with nurse call system)
• shower assistance (up to 15 minutes each - twice weekly)
• assistance with activities of daily living 
• wound care/wound dressing (Ontario Health atHome Mississauga Halton area) * dressing supplies are the responsible of the resident/responsible parties
• special diets and dietary needs accommodated whenever possible
• supervision of oxygen therapy
• monthly monitoring of weight and blood pressure
• blood tests
• annual flu shot clinic (flu shot is mandatory)
• coordination of doctors and specialists
• supervision of G-tube feedings (15 minutes each - twice daily)
• supervision of catheter care (incontinence care additional)
• medication administration/treatment supervision including insulin and injectables (pharmacy costs are the responsibility of the resident/responsible parties)
• palliative care if needs can be met by the Residence (assessed by Health Services Manager)

Monthly fee on the care floor includes:

• accommodation and utilities
• basic care service package
• all meals and snacks
• complete housekeeping
• linens and personal laundry service
• voice communication system
• life enrichment programming
• organized clubs and social activities
• transportation for planned outings
• in-house cable television, internet and telephone (except long distance charges)
• rent supplement through Halton Community Housing Corporation (limit of three A suites)

Enhanced services available for a fee * can be discussed with the Health Services Manager

Optional services available on a fee for service basis:

• visiting professionals, offering foot care and other services
• enhanced personal care service
• hair salon
• newspaper delivery
• mending or alteration services
• arrangements for dry cleaning
