Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Helps members understand psychosis and schizophrenia as an illness, to be more aware of available facilities in the community, to keep abreast of research progress and to create public awareness 
 
Major services: 
IDEAS Group 
* a confidential small group meeting held monthly offering support to families who are caring for a loved one who has schizophrenia * speaker presents on a topic and then there is sharing between family members in a confidential setting 
 
Education  
* Strengthening Families Together 4-week course 
* presentations in the community 
* the Regional Office offers educational courses, public forums on various topics to do with mental health as well as related workshops
Hours Second Thu of each month, 7 pm at Joseph Brant Wellness House
