Care begins with a one-on-one assessment by a Registered Physiotherapist, followed by the development of a personalized treatment plan
- often includes active exercise, education on self-management strategies, and support from an interdisciplinary team
- aim to improve mobility, increase physical activity, and support overall health and wellness
- offer both individual physiotherapy sessions and group programs
Group programs include:
- Persistent Pain Program: an 8-week, research-based education and exercise program for people with chronic/persistent pain (includes both group and one-to-one sessions)
- Pulmonary Rehab: an 8-week education and supervised exercise program for individuals living with COPD or other chronic lung diseases
- GLA:D Canada: a 7-week, research-based education and exercise program for people with hip and/or knee osteoarthritis
- EFEA (Exercise For Everyday Activities: a 7-week, education & function-focused exercise program for people with balance and mobility issues
- LIFT: a 7-week, education and exercise program for people with shoulder pain
