Description (Service)

The Georgetown and District Ministerial Association operates Community Unity Halton Hills, a combined effort of Georgetown churches to assist families in need whatever their beliefs. 
 
Community Unity provides three main community programs: 

  • Spring and Fall Yard Clean Up - Assists individuals and families in need due to age, health or circumstance with seasonal yard clean ups
  • Food From the Heart - Once a month, hot high protein meals are prepared and served at the Georgetown Bread Basket for clients to take home
  • Jubilee Connections to Help - A Christian volunteer‑led program that compassionately supports individuals and families by connecting them with local resources and walking alongside them to identify pathways toward stability and restoration.
