Description (Service)

Activities include:

  • Social gathering
  • workshops for members
  • instruction for beginners
  • drop ins welcome (supplies available to try hooking, along with some instruction)
  • demonstrations
  • Open House in January - includes guest speaker, vendors, door prizes, and refreshments
  • support for Georgetown Fall Fair (sponsor prize in rughooking category)
  • regular Fall show at Georgetown Library 
  • Annual display at the Ontario Hooking Craft Guild convention - awards, Gala dinner, AGM, workshops
Hours
  • Usually meet first Sat of the month 9 am-4 pm at Hillsview Active Living Centre (call 905-877-6444 to confirm); open to Members and guests
  • Meet every Wed, Sep-Jun, 10 am-3 pm at Hillsview Active Living Centre; open to drop ins
