Description (Service)

Programs for members include:

  • organized weekend cruises to other ports on Lake Ontario
  • club races (twice-weekly, Tue and Thu) for dinghies and keel boats
  • access to regattas and events sponsored by other yacht clubs
  • reciprocal docking/visitation privileges at other yacht clubs around the lake
  • social activities year round

Facilities include:

  • a clubhouse with kitchen, member lounge and event space
  • summer dinghy, canoe and kayak storage compound, ramp and docks
  • summer docking is via LaSalle Park Community Marina
  • winter boat storage and mast hoist (with membership)

Mentored Sailing Program (MSP):

  • for all levels of experience 
  • learn about sailing and owning a boat before buying your own
  • uses club keel boats and mentors to assist participants (not formal instruction)
